Last Day of Lord’s Head 2026

24hr Comic Day 2026

This year I tried an alternative version of the challenge: I set a timer on my phone for 24 hours and tried to see how much of a comic I could get done in that time – I estimate it was about 80% of this, I finished inking it while tabling at MCM over this last weekend.

It was inspired by drawing from a tarot deck – I drew the fool, the wheel of fortune, and the ace of swords – which inspired the main characters, the theme (the wheel) and I felt it appropriate to keep the consultation of the deck as a key point.

Looking back on it now, I don’t think this was a good way to do the challenge. I rushed something that I didn’t need to since I was already overrunning the 24hrs and ended up with some poor inking work that I’m not happy with. I think the story is fine but I probably won’t print it like I did last year’s one. Thanks for taking a look here though!
